12. The buildings on the coast are at Mossyard Farm. The largest Island is Ardwall Isle (known locally as "Laurie's Isle")

19. This postcard says the subject is Dalavan Bay, but in fact it shows camping (scouts or guides ?) at Newton.

21. The stakes are used for attaching fishing nets which catch fish as the tide recedes. Beyond the stakes is Cat Craig.


22. Top left of this picture is The Pinnacle. Before trees obscured it The Pinnacle was used for navigating up the Fleet.


23. This is the "Garden Site", part of Cardoness. It occupies what used to be the walled garden at Cardoness.
