Skyreburn
During 2020 we have done research on 3 properties in the Skyreburn Glen.
The February edition of Gatehouse News published one of over 800 photographs that were taken by postman William McMurray. The subjects were a family group standing outside a domestic building.
With help we managed to locate the building and hence put names to the faces, resulting the following brief account based at Kirkbride Farmhouse in Skyreburn Glen.
Brian McMurray, grandson of photographer William McMurray, owns the cottage called Skyreburn (formerly Damhead) in Skyreburn Glen. This is a piece about who has lived at Skyreburn.
