Military Papers: (M2/113660) Wife Ellen McCree Carson, (married 01/06/1912 Wimbledon). At start of war lived at Nether House, Castle Douglas. Was a Lorry Driver in A.S.C. Discharged 16th January 1919 (aged 42) with hand injury & thyroidectomy, after treatment at Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow. Home now (i.e. after the war) in Crocketford. Awarded pension of 8/3d per week.
